Wednesday was pretty tame. I didn’t have any classes. But I still wanted to wake up early, do some laundry, and get some work done. I got up around 7:30 and threw a load in the wash. After I had gotten ready, I went out and pulled my clothes out of the wash to hang on the line to dry.
Here is a little tip for those of you who have yet to hang clothes on a line to dry: Don’t wash clothes without access to a dryer if it is going to be raining for the next few days. More specifically, don’t wash ALL OF YOUR PANTS in one load when you do not have access to a dryer. Otherwise, you will be waiting for 2-3 days just to get pants back. You will get sick of wearing tights and leggings especially when you only have a few dresses to shake up your outfit with.
So yeah, I didn’t have pants for a few days. That was an adventure. Tights and flats do not a proper rain outfit make. I went as far as to look into laundromats close to me so I could at least dry my pants. Eventually they did mostly dry. Not that it mattered. As soon as I put on my pants, I had to walk through the rain to get to the bus stop anyway, which probably rendered my pants even more wet than they were after the first 24 hours on the line.
But back to Wednesday. I went to school for what is called “The Gathering”, which is essentially chapel, but it’s only once a week and it is not technically required (but ASC says you should go). There’s some worship, a speaker, and some more worship, and that’s it. After that, I went to the library to get some homework done. Great success. It’s amazing what you can achieve in the library.
Since I did so good at getting work done at school, that night I was able to hang out with Braedon and Kieran, which is always a hoot. And by hang out I mean watch T.V. which is still pretty fun.
