Photos and Connect Group

Monday.  Today I just had one class, Photo. I shot my last object for my assignment. It was a scarf. Here is a sample of what that looked like:

Then I finalized the files of all of my shots and gave them to a girl in my class name Jenica who is going to the printer this week.

After that I went down to Lashings (A little restaurant a few blocks from school) and got a ‘Sydney Burger’. I was advised to get this from my friends in photo class. I brought it back and ate at the tables outside with some of my second year friends.  After I ate I went to the library and finished my homework. I wanted to get my homework all done because I was going out to dinner with some friends and I wanted to not be stressed about it.

I went home and got ready to go to dinner/bible study. It’s actually called a Connect Group. So when I say CG from now on that’s what that means.

I headed to Town Hall so I could meet up with the group at 6:30. I took the train, and wouldn’t you know it, it was having trouble and stopped just one stop short of my stop. So I had to get off and get on a different train that was going a different route to Town hall. I ended up getting there about 30 minutes late. Silly trains, you’re supposed to be more reliable than the buses!

The group consisted of: Lihn, Andrei, Kenny, and some new people I hadn’t met : Kara (from Chicago), Michel, and Gabbi. They were all super great. We had our little bible study but ultimately just ended up talking about our lives and where we came from. It was neat to get to hear about their lives on a deeper level.

From there I caught a train home with Kenny (he’s on the same line as me).
