The Universal Problem

5.2.2012
Wednesday. Today I talked to Mom and Dad on the phone. We talked about plans for getting home. Which I hated. I didn’t want to talk about details of getting home. I’m in denial that they will be picking me up from the airport in just a few short weeks. We also talked about my friend Olivia’s wedding this summer. She’s getting married in Hawaii in July and I really want to go. I have just recently been e-mailing Olive and talking about how much I want to be at her wedding. Mom was saying that we might be able to work something out for me to go. But I’m not going to get my hopes up just yet.
I then went to the library and started working on a paper that is due next week for Aboriginal class. My first mistake was going to Concord library. This is the loudest library you could imagine. So I was very distracted. And didn’t get all that much done. So I went home and did most of the work.
Later I met up with Hong at Strathfield. He got some food at Oporto. He let me listen to a recording of a song that he was playing guitar in. It was really cool that he got to share that with me. When he pulled out his ear buds so that I could listen, he spent a good 30-45 seconds untangling them before I could listen. I thought, “wow, that is a universal problem,” It does not matter where you are from or what language you speak, your ear buds are going to get tide in knots.
After that Hong wanted to show me a frozen yogurt shop that was near by. It was very good and reminded me of going to Tutti Frutti back in Azusa. After that Hong walked with me to my house. Successful Wednesday.
